Optometrists need to participate in continuing education (CE) efforts in order to maintain their licenses to practice.  These seminars, first offered in 1992, are an annual event moderated by Kathy Kelley, OD and sponsored by the Cornea Research Foundation of America and Price Vision Group. The entire day is focused on optometrist education with ample opportunities to hear contemporary experts on topics of concern to them, to examine and discuss the latest in vision care products and to network informally with one another over lunch and during the breaks.

Cornea Update with Francis W. Price, Jr., MD
Common Surgical and non-surgical treatments for corneal conditions continue to evolve. Dr. Price will cover the most common corneal problems that present in the optometrist office and the step-wise approach taken to treat and educate the patient.
Positive and Negative Dysphotopsia with Matthew Feng, MD

Retinal Emergencies: Management and Treatment with Mark Kaehr, MD

Anterior Uveitis: The Nuts & Bolts (2hr) with Mile Brujic, OD
Management of both acute and chronic inflammation is critical, particularly in patients with anterior uveitis. This course will outline proper protocols for managing this patient presentation along with the systemic considerations that must be taken into account.
